【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovideguidelinesforcategorizingpediatrictraumacenterstoensureconsistencyofpediatrictraumacarethroughoutthenation.Theguidelineswillformthequantitativebasisforauditandongoingqualityassurance.ThisguidecanbeusedinconjunctionwithobjectivequalityassuranceoutcomemeasuresasoutlinedinGuideF1224.Thisguidecanbeusedbylocal,regional,andnationalauthoritiestoestablishpediatrictraumacenters.1.1Thisguideestablishesminimumguidelinesforthedevelopmentandoperationofapediatrictraumafacilityinachildren'sorgeneralhospital.Apediatrictraumafacilityisaninstitutionwhosemedicalandadministrativeleadershiphasexpressedthepersonal,institutional,andfinancialcommitmenttooptimalcareoftheinjuredchild24haday,365daysayear.1.2Thisguidedefinesthesystem,organizationalstructure,clinicalpersonnel,andphysicalequipmentnecessaryforapediatrictraumafacility,whetherfreestandingorajointadult/pediatricfacilityineitherachildren'shospitalorgeneralhospitalcommittedtothecareofinjuredchildren.1.3Thecriteriaoutlineinthisguideincorporateslevelsofcategorizationandtheiressentialordesiredcharacteristics.
