【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoallcommerciallyavailableopticalamplifiers(OA)andopticallyamplifiedsubsystems.ItappliestoOAusingopticallypumpedfibres(OFAbasedoneitherrare-earthdopedfibresorontheRamaneffect),semiconductors(SOA),andwaveguides(POWA).NOTETheapplicabilityofthetestmethodsdescribedinthepresentstandardtodistributedRamanamplifiersisforfurtherstudy.Theobjectofthisstandardistoestablishuniformrequirementsforaccurateandreliablemeasurements,bymeansoftheopticalpowermetertestmethod,ofthefollowingOAparameters,asdefinedinClause3ofIEC61291-1:a)nominaloutputsignalpower;b)gain;c)reversegain;d)maximumgain;e)polarization-dependentgain;f)large-signaloutputstability;g)saturationoutputpower;h)maximuminputsignalpower;i)maximumoutputsignalpower;j)inputpowerrange;k)outputpowerrange;I)maximumtotaloutputpower.Inadditionthistestmethodprovidesameansformeasuringthefollowingparameters:-maximumgainwavelength;gainwavelengthband.NOTEAllnumericalvaluesfollowedby(t)aresuggestedvaluesforwhichthemeasurementisassured.Othervaluesmaybeacceptablebutshouldbeverified.Theobjectofthisstandardisspecificallydirectedtosingle-channelamplifiers.Formultichannelamplifiers,oneshouldrefertotheIEC61290-10series2.
