【摘要】:Theseproceduresprovidemeasuresofthedropimpactresistanceofthegrouporlotofblowncontainersfromwhichthetestspecimenswereselected.Itisacceptabletousetheseproceduresforroutineinspectionpurposes.Theseprocedureswillevaluatetheeffectofconstruction,materials,andprocessingconditionsontheimpactresistanceoftheblowncontainers.Beforeproceedingwiththistestmethod,referencethespecificationofthematerialbeingtested.Anytestspecimenpreparation,conditioning,dimensions,ortestingparameters,orcombinationthereof,coveredinthematerialsspecificationshalltakeprecedenceoverthosementionedinthistestmethod.Iftherearenomaterialspecifications,thenthedefaultconditionsapply.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesmeasuresofthedropimpactresistanceofblow-moldedthermoplasticcontainersasasummationoftheeffectsofmaterial,manufacturingconditions,containerdesign,andperhapsotherfactors.1.2Threeproceduresareprovidedasfollows:1.2.1ProcedureA,StaticDropHeightMethod8212;Thisprocedureisparticularlyusefulforqualitycontrolsinceitisquick.1.2.2ProcedureB,BrucetonStaircaseMethod8212;Thisprocedureisusedtodeterminethemeanfailureheightandthestandarddeviationofthedistribution.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
