【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedure,instrumentalrequirements,standardizationprocedures,materialstandards,measurementprocedures,andparametersnecessarytomakeprecisemeasurementsofin-vivotoothcolorandtoothwhiteness.Inparticularitismeanttomeasurethecolorofteethinselectedhumansubjects.1.2Digitalimagesareusedtoevaluatetoothcolorofbothposteriorandanteriordentition(teeth).Allothernon-relevantparts,suchasgums,spaces,etc.,mustbeseparatedfromthemeasurementandtheanalysis.Alllocalizeddiscoloration;suchasstains,inclusions,etc.,maybeseparatedfromthemeasurementandtheanalysis.1.3Thebroadbandreflectancefactorsofteetharemeasured.Thecolorimetricmeasurementisperformedwithadigitalstillcamerawhileusinganilluminator(s)thatprovidescontrolledilluminationontheteeth.ThemeasureddatafromadigitalimagearecapturedusingaDSC.Thistestmethodisparticularlyusefulforthegamutoftoothcolorwhichis:1.3.1CIEL*from55to95,1.3.2CIEa*from3to12,1.3.3CIEb*from8to25units.1.4Thewavelengthsforthistestmethodincludethatportionofthevisiblespectrumfrom400to700nm.1.5Dataacquiredusingthistestmethodisforcomparativepurposesusedduringclinicaltrialsorothertypesofresearch.1.6Thistestmethodisdesignedtoencompassnaturalteeth,artificialteeth,restorations,andshadeguides.Note1Thisproceduremaynotbeapplicableforalltypesofdentalwork.1.7Theapparatus,measurementprocedure,dataanalysistechniquearegeneric,sothataspecificapparatus,measurementprocedure,ordataanalysistechniquemaynotbeexcluded.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
