【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricalappliancesforheatingliquidsforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.NOTE101Someappliancesmaybeusedforheatingfood.NOTE102Examplesofappliancesthatarewithinthescopeofthisstandardare-coffee-makers;-cookingpans;-eggboilers;-feeding-bottleheaters;-kettlesandotherappliancesforboilingwater,havingaratedcapacitynotexceeding10I;-milkheaters;-pressurecookershavingaratedcookingpressurenotexceeding140kPaandaratedcapacitynotexceeding10I;-ricecookers.-slowcookers;-steamcookers;-washboilers;-yoghurtmakers.Appliancesintendedfornormalhouseholdandsimilaruseandthatmayalsobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.However,iftheapplianceisintendedtobeusedprofessionallytoprocessfoodforcommercialconsumption,theapplianceisnotconsideredtobeforhouseholdandsimilaruseonly.NOTE103Examplesofsuchappliancesare-gluepotswithawaterjacket;-livestockfeedboilers;-sterilizers.ASfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount-persons(includingchildren)whose~physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or~lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;-childrenplayingwiththeappliance.
